Not enough for Duchane or ekholm.

Duchane is essentially a #1 C for lazar and a 2nd round pick.

Ekholm a top 4 D for scraps

100% agree. This guy always undervalues other players / overvalues senators

Absolutely no way in hell Nashville goes for that. That's a bunch of scraps for a blueliner they can't afford to lose.

then you obviously don't know who Francis perron is, nor do you know that wideman is playing for the US in the world championships with Seth Jones

Ok ok i kid but he's clearly THE BEST DEFENSIVE DEFENCEMAN IN THE LEAGUE!!!!

Come on Zbaddest, Ottawa is the best team in the league, they don't need Duchene or Ekholm.......... especially not if their gonna give away superstar players in the trade.

and i thought you were a REAL Sens fan.........pppffffffff

So because he's a 7th round pick, you think that he sucks, along with Henrik Zetterberg, and all the late picks ever selected in Stone, Alfredsson, Rinne, and a lot more. 110 points in 60 games for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, along with a +/- rating of 41, is horrible apparently, interesting... You clearly have no knowledge about hockey, because those are pretty impressive numbers put up by Perron that would make for a player a great two way player in the NHL.

That proposal for Duchene is a straight up joke. Not too funny though.

Zetterberg, alfredson, etc proved it at the NHL level they were good players. This kid has proven nothing other then doing well in the Q (the worst junior leauge). Look at some of the people with high numbers in that leauge. They're nobodies

This is awful. Ottawa gives up garbage for 2 really good players. Colorado would never do that deal and Nashville would cut off all contact with the Senators. The best part is that, apparently, Ottawa will only carry 20 players all year as they don't even have the cap room to carry any more. Obviously the you have no clue how your own organization operates because, if you did, you would realize that they have an internal budget and would never spend to the cap. Terrible. Take a lap.

Eugene Melnyk said he will spend to the cap if the GM feels that it will let the team win. GM Pierre Dorion was told by Melnyk that he has all the support by Melnyk in finding whoever he wants to get the team to win.

Zbaddest, thought that quote from Doiron was only in reference to coaching staff, no?
