If you think prices contract is bad, wait till you see Toews in 3 years. Don’t think either team would do this deal.

If Chicago was looking to get rid of Toews this may make a lot of sense. Right now I think they're more focused on moving their aging D-Core. I know Toews hasn't been his self lately, but last year he ended with a strong year and is still an elite two way forward. Its hard to come by complete two-way 1st/2nd line centers, so for that reason I would say no.
