He could but why not find an elite winger who can produce on his own? RNH was good at wing because he played with McDavid. If I’m looking for another winger I’m looking for a guy who is the play driver on the line

RNH only played on McDavids line for the last 11 games of the season... He was producing without him.

He only got 48 points this season, that’s still not elite production. He has never produced at a top line level

RNH also missed 20 games due to injury. Prorate his 48 points to a full season would be 68 points. He produced at a .77 points this past season.

Ya and Panarin has rarely missed a game. RNH has only played one full season his entire career, he has never gotten more then 60 points, it doesn’t matter what ‘pace’ he produces at, in the end game he doesn’t produce.

You don’t give up a proven night in night out top line producer for a a kid who has never proven himself and has only silent that he he is an injury prone second liner.
