I could see one of Ryan Mcleod, Akil Thomas, and maybe Barett Hayton available at 20. I don't think any of them would be ready to make the jump into the big league, especially not at 2C. MTL is better off trading for a 2C/3C.

I think muzzin for patches straight up is a pretty fair deal maybe something else going to LAK because muzzin has another year left but other than that I like your idea

Anisimov would be a great addition for Montreal. Not the best on the faceoff dot but at least he is a center that has consistently put up 20 goals

He's also not afraid to get in front of the net with traffic. Propose a trade to the Hawks is what I would do.

He's worth one of the high 2nd round picks MTL has either the MTL one or Chicago one.

Hawks also are looking to move Duclair's RFA rights who's 22 and one of the fastest guys in the league. Hawks need a #2 RHD to pair with Keith on the 1st line, but have a log jam of D guys at the #3 through #6 positions. Either Murphy or Jan Rutta are going to get traded....Murphy is the better player and more upside can play 1st line minutes but best on the 2nd line. Rutta is also RHD and a okay 2nd line guy but a good 3rd liner.

No. The Hawks do not have any hot prospects at the C other then Mathew Highmore who needs another year in the AHL. They tried bringing him up for a few games last year and clearly he's not ready yet.

Do a blockbuster trade....Hawks will give the #8, #27, AA, for the #3? Then MTL grabs the best center in the draft with the #8 Jerperi Kotkaniemi is bound to be a 1st line center in the league.

To answer your question, Rasmus Kupari, Ryan McLeod, and Isac Lundestrom would all be center options at/around 20th.
