    That Kings trade is an insult to hockey. No way the Kings would do that and the Leafs would have no cap space to sign Matthews and Marner. Jets would trade Myers before Trouba too.

    I believe you are not seeing the salary cap hell the king's are in, and this move gets them a quality defenseman and assets.

    Myers does not have the value that Trouba has, not even close.

    Trouba's off the table, and we're not interested in Gardiner. The UFA market for LHD's is way too strong to be trading Gardiner this year.

    Jets are shopping Myers (who will likely sign an extension) for a late 1st round pick or early 2nd round pick +pieces.

    I do see the cap hell the Kings are in but I also see the cap hell youre putting the Leafs in.

    Who gives a flying **** about the Kings? They worked themselves into a problem, make themselves get out of it. The Leafs aren't the team that will do this, they have competent management, try Montreal instead
