    For a 30 year old guy. And Carolina would never accept the deal with Allen.

    Meh we might get a draft pick outta DET but seems irrelevant. As for Kessel, you are gonna have to give talent to get talent. This team still has Thomas, Kyrou, Foley, Fitz, Husso, etc. not really sure you can say you are trading the farm. Barbie has no spot, Tage has no spot, and Kostin has never played a NHL game. Kessel is a guaranteed 70 points. I can’t say that about all those guys combined. Fabbri could score 50 points or could get hurt the 1st game, no way to know.

    But Kostin you forget was #1 ranked skater from Europe. Not to mention he is improving. I’d rather keep what we have in the farm. Rather than overpay for a overpaid player. Kessel is overrated. If you want to get someone I’d rather get a Center than another Winger. A winger is the last thing we need.
