I am unlike other Sabre followers and I can see a lot merit in this trade, but Botterill will still say no, even if 2 more 1st round picks were included. So as much this trade looks really good, Botterill would say no.

Yeah, they are only downgrading from the next Lidstrom/Hedman/Karlsson to a solid 1st pairing defenseman. Big difference there. Crappy 1st round picks and Jake Gardiner are not even close to cutting it.
