Description
I am very curious about what people think about a Zucker for Tuch trade. First of all, would Vegas make that trade? Second, how do you perceive the trade value-wise? Thanks in advance!

Straight up Zucker for Tuch, I don't see it happening. With Vegas possibly losing Neal and/or Perron to free agency this offseason, Tuch is in line for a good increase in ice time. He's 22 years old and had a fantastic season. The increase in ice time will boost those numbers, in addition to the continued development. Zucker is a great player, don't get me wrong, but I don't see Vegas doing a 1-for-1 for Zucker. Tuch is 4 years younger, and after his performance this season shows a very real chance that he could wind up to be better than Zucker sometime over the next few years. It'd be very close, but I think that Vegas hesitantly says no to a 1-for-1

I know Vegas is somehow in the Finals.. But if they want to keep this up for years to come, the need a lot more depth on Defence. So if anyone says no, It would be MIN

Vegas has a lot of other good players prospect coming up

*EDIT* Misread it. I was thinking of Spurgeon. You are absolutely right. Vegas doesn't give up Tuch.

Who takes Zucker’s spot in the lineup and where does Tuch fit? Do we put Coyle on the 3rd line and play Tuch on line 2 and call up Sam Anas to play 4LW? Not sure how good of a lineup we’ll have after that trade.

You stole my idea. lol

I'd do it, maybe Vegas would. Depends on how much they value the hometown boy thing.

IF Greenway is ready to be a full-time NHLer next season, it's as simple as I have above - move Neiderrieter to LW. If Greenway is not, I would have to explore the UFA market, or make another trade.

What I don't like about this roster is all the pipsqueaks on the blue line...especially the right side. I happen to think Spurgeon should be shopped around more than anyone else this off-season. He's no spring chicken anymore and his value is only going to dwindle from this point forward. I hate how he gets thrown around like a rag doll in the playoffs. Maybe a team with a tough, rugged LD to pair him up with. I think he should go to the Oilers and play with Nurse...
