I think he would be a great addition to the Oilers but I think the Blues will want more then that offer.

Blues always need a center - I'd say it's a pipe dream unless you base the deal on Draisaitl - Parayko. Klefbom is a nice piece and his contract is nicer, but the Blues have a good balance right now in their top 4 of Edmundson-Pietrangelo and Dunn-Parayko... I doubt any of those four are available without a serious overpay.

I hold that opinion too, but I use "more important" instead of "better". There's no one on our roster that comes close to Tarasenko when it comes to putting the puck in the net, but we can't compete without Schwartz's impact on every shift.

yeah that is a good way of putting it. Schwartz is a harder worker, better defensively. Vlady is a pure goal scorer. Both very valuable

I brought this up on TSN radio and Their response was Why would Edmonton do it? They thought it was giving up too much. I thought it was in the ballpark. I think giving up Drai I would need more than parayko back. I think for Drai plus we could probably land Karlsson. Assuming of course he is available.

Also I just realized I meant for it to be the 2018 first round pick, not the 2019...
