Id rather have Anderson over Eakin.....that just gives us another 3rd line center. Also Glass isn’t ready.... he’ll be back in Portland next season.

For what it’s worth, Vegas is my pick to land Tavares

Cool! Love the feedback! THN's put Cody Glass as "ready" to go for next season and I trust their instincts. Also I can somewhat agree with you about the Eakin and Anderson part, but I also know that Anderson wants out of Columbus. If not Eakin who would you put in a trade for Anderson?

I thought about that one too. Makes sense! I hope the Islanders find a way to keep their franchise player though.... frown

Very understandable. I'm not an NHL GM and salaries I would have to take a little more time towards. I definitely agree with you about that. Maybe Kane takes 6,500,000 or 7,000,000 on a different club desperate for goals? What do you think?

I’ll be honest with you. Im from Portland and saw him play all year and he’s so not ready...he needs to make his decisions faster. The only reason Anderson wanted out was because he wasn’t getting played and this year he player almost twice as much as last year so I’m not sure if he still wants to leave. Also a player who holds out for more money doesn’t always want out of somewhere, don’t confuse that for losing his love for hockey(ROR). Also if I were to trade a good young power forward I’d probably want a high prospect and a pick or an older line up player. I’d be okay with a Tuch and a Colin Miller, I’d be willing to add Murray and Savard for Theodore and Nosek.

Anderson, Murray, Savard and a second to Vegas for Tuch, Miller and Theodore....

That might be a dream. Lol.

Cool! Thanks for the insights on Cody Glass, maybe he has a fabulous off season training. Will find out sooner or later...

His "wanting out" had less to do with wanting out of Columbus and more wanting to be paid more; it was a RFA holdout tactic rather than genuine disgruntlement.
