U could definitely get more for Petry because Orpik’s contract’s bad. If the Canucks got Dahlin, no way is this deal happening (Replace the Dahlin pick with a 2019 or 2020 1st). Too much for too long for Stastny, and sign Carlson 7x7. Way too much for Niemi (he can get less than a mil again).

I should had tough to mention prior to the draft in the trade detail my bad. I know i can have more for Petry but i am only lookoing to unload the money for the future, should i add a good young prospect? For Stastny I think that he will be part of the tavares plan b derby wich mean overrated signature usually. For Niemi i've shed few $$ on the previous contract and give only 1 yr ...having Niemi and Orpik unloaded of the payroll at the end of the season give us the pacioretty and byron moneyraise and more.

Yeah, Petry can go for Orpik+L.Johansen or Siegenthaler.

Makes zero sense for Vancouver. Why would they want Price’s massive contract when they are trying to rebuild, and they have Demko coming. They’d rather keep Dahlin!

This is in no way an endorsement of Vancouver trading for Price, but I caution that Demko is still a long way from being an NHL starter. He has barely started half of the games in Utica this season and has yet to see one minute of NHL action. He's three years from being the #1, assuming he keeps on the same development track.

I doubt any of this will happen, but hope keeps us alive! would be cool if it did. Just Dahlin and Tkachuk, would be very impressive!
