Dang, you are using some prospects as equals when they clearly are not plus throwing cap dumps in trades but not in others. A lot of these trades are much better than others.

well some teams don't require the cap dumps. I checked each teams cap before designing the trade.

No I get some teams may require it to be complaint, but you're adding it in without any additional benefit to Buffalo. Why would Buffalo choose the Boston trade over lets say the Winnipeg trade for example?

You can't really look at them all in the same context, You have to assume that Boston was the only one calling at the time and same for the rest. Also I kinda Mailed in the Boston deal honestly because I don't think the Sabres would ever trade with Boston.

I'm big on Kane and all but asking for a teams best prospect AND a first round pick, among other things is absurd (especially considering he's a UFA at the end of the year). The CAR, NYI, and VGK trades are laughable

I know Hagelin has stepped up his game but you look at the way he started the season and the pens are probably not looking forward to him being on the squad next year plus if your being honest you would take kane all day over Hagelin.

Also reports are that Rutherford believes Kanes attitude issues are related to being a part of a losing franchise his whole career and thinks he would be different in PIT kinda like how Kessel's attitude turned around when he got there.

Flyers are not a logical trade parter. They are not making any "blockbuster" caliber moves unless they feel that it would be a long term optiom.

Kane is only 26 and is hitting his prime he could deff contribute to their future.

We have other prospects that can take over for Kane (Oskar Lindblom, Wade Allison, German Rubstov, Morgan Frost, Mikhail Yorobyov) while not having to move assets for a front-office headache and around 8 percent of our cap hit.

None of those guys are Evander Kane, there are very few Kane's in the league, in fact if he went there Philly would have 2 of them Simmonds and Kane are two of the best power forwards in the game.

I wouldn't move a ton of unproven assets for a rental, especially since rentals typically don't result in winning the cup (Shattenkirk, Hanzel, etc.). If we wanted to get him locked up long term, we can just sign him in the offseason. Essentially the deal is trading those prospects for the option to try to lock up Kane before he hits the open market.
