I see Kucherov getting somewhere between Kane and Tarasenko money. Factor it the cap could be up around $80 to $82 million by the time he's an RFA. Kucherov has said through his agent he won't try to break the bank. If Yzerman got Stamkos and Hedman for 8.5 and under 8, It is not unreasonable that Kuch will follow suit and also take 8.5 to stay on a winning team.

He could. Hell, Pasta took $6.66 million and that's well under his market value. It'll be interesting to see what happens and what his definition of "not breaking the bank" is.
