Much more realistic than other Patchy to STL trades that I have seen. But I think that Mike Hoffman might be a better fit for the blues.

Thomas is our only true center prospect in the system and also the best center prospect that we have had in ten years. Paccioretty doesn't push us over the top.

Just curious as to what you think pushes you over the top? Patches is an elite LW

You seems closer following the Blues than many of us... In the Blues Center Prospect; who is better than who between; Thompson, Barbashev, Thomas?

Because I think having this kind of depth you can sacrifice one in getting a TOP NHL proven LW?

Thomas is the best of the 3. Thompson is more suited for the wing, Barbashev's ceiling is a middle of the road 2C. Thomas is the only one who has 1C potential.

Blues would be better off to get Hoffman or Simmonds over Pacioretty. Hoffman for his speed, Simmonds because he is the front of the net presence the Blues need.

I would take Thompson or Fabbri with Walman and picks than... and leave you Thomas. Thanks for your opinion

No problem. I still don't understand why the Blues took Thompson over Brett Howden. But Thompson has looked okay so far. He just needs to mature physically

I would have chosen Sam Steel in front on the two! 131pts in the WHL

Fabbri doesn't play center in the nhl and mtl wants a center in there package!
So in my opinion i want Thompson or Kyrou(If Thomas is not available)!

Kyrou doesnt play center in the OHL right now so he won't help if centers are what you're looking for. Blues didn't play Fabbri at center because of Stastny and Lehtera (for some god awful reason). Otherwise I think the Blues would have used him there

Steel would have been a good pne too. I like Howden's size and speed more, but I wouldn't complain if they went with Steel. Hell, Kyrou was taken after all 3. Imagine that one

I would say Fabbri+Walman+1st+3rd for Patches +3rd. If Patches scores 25 goals or more the 3rd turns into a 2nd. If 30 (or resigns) then it turns into another 1st. I dont think there is a limit on number of limitations but if there is, then I'd say Fabbri+Walman+1st+2nd with the possibility of it being a second 1st for Patches and 3rd or 4th.

I agree, but Tage has a super unique skill set that kind of reminds me a bit of Eichel. I think Tage can mature into a 25-25 guy.

I view Thompson as a lesser Blake Wheeler who was also drafted at center and played college. Big lanky guy with good skill. But probably won't hit his stride until he's 25 or so.
