Well i do think the money is realsitic as to what hed want but i dont think he should get it after one good season this year. After his season this year, 4 is reasonable. If he has multiple seasons like this then yeah he deserves more but i just dont want him on my favourite teams, hes just going to wind up being one of those bad contracts you regret taking on later on.

Why bring in Kane and let Hornqvist walk? Kane is gonna get at least 7 million, I don’t see horny getting more than 5.5-6 tops so it would make more sense to take Hornqvist back instead of Kane. I also don’t see Rust getting that much unless he has a big end of the season and playoffs. And even then he might not just because he is an RFA.

I feel bad for whoever gives him (if someone does) that type of money. Then again I'm in that group that isn't has high on Kane as others.

One good year??? You do know this willbe his 3Rd straight 20goal season and he has a 30goal season under his belt too. You don't have to like the guy he's had his character issues but you drastically underestimate his playing ability.

Ok he repeatedly broke team rules and was late or missed practice which he has been benched for in Winnipeg and buffalo. He had a lawsuit filed against him and had a sex offense investigation because of an altercation with a woman in a hotel room. In 2016 he faced six charges one for trespassing and rest for non criminal harassment due to an incident a downtown buffalo bar.

Please, because so far i've seen 2 instances of gold diggers looking for a payout (one case was drop due to lack of evidence, the other case was dropped because the judge considered his actions not criminal) and one time where he was late for practice with Buffalo because he went to the NBA allstar game. He should continue to have a target on his back because in 4 years in Buffalo he was late to practice once....
