Description

With the cup window for the ducks on the closing end, I think it is time for BM to make a move and go for it.
Give Ottawa two young players capable of playing in the NHL and send them a first to retain some salary on Hoffman.
This helps with the Eaves situation as well. If he comes back the Ducks will be set up for a nice long playoff run and even if he doesn't this gives the Ducks the ability to roll 4 lines and have scoring on them as well.

As a Ducks Fan I would rather Target Galchenyuk. I'd probably offer up something around Larsson + Ritchie

I think MTL would do that given that they are slowly creeping up on a rebuild.
