Description
Obviously there is a bit of Dreaming going on here... like the JT signing, the Galchenyuk deal, and maybe a top 5 pick in 2018 (though that one seems the most realistic). Long term Shaw would have to go to make room for Lek/Byron/Hudon contracts but its hard not to like the look of that 4th line as is.

    Way too much for Muzzin? Pacioretty alone should be pretty close. No way is Tavares making more then McDavid's $12.5 million. Tavares at the most might get between $11 million to $11.5 million per. And why would Tavares agree to sign with Montreal when you're just trading your two best forwards in Galchenyuk and Pacioretty.

    One: Alzner is a top 4 defensemen on nearly any NHL team and Buffalo is in desperate need for Defense more than any other position. Schlemko is a solid #5 who can play up the lineup in a pinch. Frankly, Nylander is a prospect, and tho promising, is still a prospect.
    Two: the pick is 2019 so there is no guarantee its a top 10
    Three: Ottawa's Karlsson & Vegas' Karlsson are two different people (but glad you were ok with Galchenyuk and a 2nd for arguably the worlds best defensemen

    I really just wanted to see if I could make JT work at a ridiculous number (its both irresistible and attempts to quash all the tax malarkey)
    I think the Patch deal would work without Scherbak but i know LA needs wingers beyond 1 year so i threw him in. Also Habs would ideally have no need for BigMac with Evans, Poehling, and the hypothetical Tkachuk pick
