Description
Spezza has two years left, but with his cap hit, I think the Stars want to dump that contract. He'd be a very good placeholder for the Habs, who also happen to have tons of cap space.

Plek is cooked though. The Habs aren't gonna keep him.

7,5M caphit makes Spezza's contract very, very hard to move.

He is still performing at a decent basis, I am sure Dallas would be willing to retain some his salary.

It would need to be a 2nd from Dallas, not Montreal to take on that $7.5 million useless 4th liner.
