Your giving up way to much for Edmunson and flurry underpaying J.T and also these trades don't solve our current problems. Trading your already struggling defence for another struggling defensemen docent help also there is no reason to trade Sekera or Kelfbom at the moment. And trading nurse and talbot docent help us either and RNH these trades just don't help us whatsoever.

Oh you aren't underpaying, you AREN'T paying. Come on. If superstars were that easy to come by don't you think teams will do it all the time?

So, a TOP 5 C, (and arguably Top 10 player) in the league is worth: RNH, a 1st, and at this rate, swapping 15 or so draft slots in the 3rd round?

You have your fair share of awful trades yourself

People, you're missing the fact that JT is just a rental - he's only signed through July 1st 2018.

Your valuations are way, way off, and both ways:

1. Nuge is a huge price to pay for a few short months of JT. If JT came as a sign-and-trade, this isn't near enough for him, but as a rental it's an overpay IMO.

2. Maroon is a rental move, Pakarinen a 4th liner at best, while Bean and Hanifin are budding superstars. If you can convince Carolina to make this trade then I'd vote for you as GM For Life. Before you get too excited, though, read my take on trades #4 and 5.

3. Lucic is barely covering his contract, Letestu doesn't have one after this season and a 6th round pick isn't worth much at all... none of this adds up to Galchenyuk and Shaw.

4. Not even sure what to say about this one... that Edmundson kid must be a god if you're giving up all that for him. Is he better than Draisaitl? Because you're valuing him that way.

5. This one is just laughable... Vegas would take that deal in an instant and yell, "NO TAKEBACKS!!"

You're fired.

Edit: on second thought, you can be the Bruins GM all you like, just stay far away from Edmonton.

The fact that some players are grossly overrated while some are grossly underrated (On either side of the trades) means you don't have a very acute eye for player value.
