It’s a no from Flames. Valimaki is a deal breaker.

I was going to say it's a no from MTL. Ryan Poehling is the deal breaker on that side.

Brodie & Neal (10M$) for Petry, Shaw, Hudon (10M$) as well but Shaw is less expensive than Neal and Petry would stabilzed they 2RHD behind Hamonic

When goes bsck to college for his senior year and becomes a free agent afterwards they’d regret it. Lol.

Valimaki is a better prospect than Poehling. And it this point the Habs need the LD more than they need a center. Could not have said that at this time last year.

He isn't likely to go back for his senior year. St Clouds championship window is gone after this year with the older Poehling brothers leaving and Jimmy Shultz leaving at the end of the season. He looks to be ready to play pro at the AHL level next season and will likely sign at the end of his college season this year.

I agree Valimaki is the better prospect but its not by a large margin.
