I'm with you. Don't understand how they're going to make this work. Callahan's trade clause is limited. So if they throw in a pick or prospect they can dump him somewhere maybe. Then maybe Point gets bridged? Maybe similar to what Kucherov got at 3x5 And I think Killhorns NMC becomes limited in 2 years, so maybe they trade him then?

Brisebois wouldn’t have signed Gourde if there wasn’t a plan to fit everyone, or to get assets in return.
I’m willing to bet that Callahan and Killorn are moved somewhat soon.
But I’m not going to hit the panic button, because every GM looks into the future and makes their moves based on it. Don’t you think Brisebois KNOWS that there are important free agents soon? If he couldn’t afford/trade them, then he wouldn’t have signed Gourde.
