Trade everyone over the age of 26 who isn't a goalie.

For whatever return you can get, then ice a bunch of rookies and let them figure out how to play. Also get rid of Travis Green, outlawing Fortnight isn't going make this team good. Having good players will make the team good.

It would be near to impossible to trade Eriksson, unless the Canucks send a quality young guy back.

They honestly need to trade Edler, Del Zotto, Gudbranson & Sutter

A lot depends on how well you could navigate the Eriksson, Sutter and Tanev NTC's. Carolina seems a sensible destination for Sutter and Arizona or Edmonton seem naturals for Tanev. The only team I see being interested in Eriksson is Ottawa, solely for contract reasons, but I doubt even the Senators would take him off your hands. The only other marketable players appear to be Baertschi, Granlund and Gudbranson, but you have to be careful about trading away TOO MANY veterans because a successful rebuild requires at least SOME leadership to instill proper work and game habits. Del Zotto and Nilsson are the perfect example of trade deadline players. I would do a lot to get a second for each of them (i.e., adding a lower pick or mid-level prospect). And I would give some serious thought to getting Dahlen and Lind up as soon as possible.
