If you want to trade Pominville to Columbus-
Pominville for Dubinsky and Milano.

The sabres dont need pacioretty. He does not fit their timeline. The pieces montreal would have to give up to get ror- they dont wanna give up. Pacioretty is not garbage, theres certainly teams that want him, but not the sabres, and not for ror.

I think the trades are closer to fair than the previous commentators.
Pominville is not garbage, with one year left on his contract, if does as well this year he will be traded for a decent pick (or a prospect) the TDL.
Girgensons does not have much value,
Pacioretty may only have one year left on his contract so make it a sign and trade.
After last season, a 3rd and 4th for Beaulieu and Larsson, is a bit too much to expect, that is why I would not trade them. Remember Beaulieu is only one year removed from 28 pt season.

I would to have Dubinsky In Buffalo for three more years..... The problem is, he has a no movement clause, and he would need to agree to waive. But Dubinsky can at least play in defensive situations, unlike Pominville. I would do Dubinsky and Milano for Pommer straight up in a heart beat

Pomminville is also worse than a third liner at this stage of his career..... Dubinsky would actually be an upgrade
