What is the ideal offseason?

For me, the ideal offseason is to pretty much stand pat. This team has impressed with its young depth this year, and I don't see much reason to break the bank on a LHD or top 6 winger.

I have Bjork coming back from injury, having a solid camp and joining Bergy and Marchand on the top line. Another option for the top line if he's not healthy, or doesn't look right would be Heinen on the 1st RW, and then possibly Cehlarik on the 3rd RW opposite Donato.

Krecji and DeBrusk have been so good together this year that I would hate to break them up in favor of Donato's solid production over 2 games.

With the 3rd line, I'd start the season seeing if Backes can still handle starting at center. If he can't then there would be some tinkering.

4th line I have loved this year, so I would keep them exactly the same.

Defense stays the same. I would venture a trade of either Krug or Carlo if we could replace them (either with that trade or FA) to better the defensive performance of that pairing. Both Miller and McQuaid stay on for their last contract year for depth on the 3rd pair RHD.
