I think the islanders end up standing pat, which isn’t the worst idea. But that’s no fun.

If a trade does happen, I expect it to be Duclair, or perhaps RHD help…or maybe both. Mayfield is out for the year (until round 1 if the isles pull off a miracle). Lou said that mayfield will be out until he’s completely healthy. That’s code for cheating the cap.

I’d love an Okposo reunion, even if it’s the only trade they make. Perhaps the return is too much for an aging player, but don’t get too hung up on it.

I love the current first line, and I ride with it until it stops working. Lee being on the 4th line would give the line more offensive capabilities while they can still be a shutdown line. Clutterbuck or Maclean can come in and out depending on the performances of the other lines.

When Bortuzzo is back, I’d waive him, Bolduc or Fasching. Whoever has the best chance of clearing. Call whoever up for when the playoffs start…if they make it of course. Big if.
