No thank you. And just so you know, any time you add Anderson in to a Blues trade, you've probably already crashed it.

That said, I applaud you putting Reinbacher up. At least there's one piece to latch onto here.

I say yes - also think Doug Armstrong and blues management/ownership says yes.

Would agree. There's alot of downside to it. But I'd imagine the general thought is it would save us from having to rob peter to pay paul on the backend. There isn't going to be a perfect fix, but adding a Reinbacher caliber d prospect should be equally as important to almost anyone on our roster outside of Thomas.

We're not teardown tanking. We're not just punting Thomas' entire prime. We all know this already. I'm really not sure why it's still a discussion. Besides, Anderson alone eats up most of the two late 1sts by himself.

It's never getting accepted. Again, we already know this.

Just a thought tank. But I don't think this really pushes towards a full on retool to the degree moving Parayko would. This also solves the major lapse in our prospect pool of having a solid bet at a #1 defenseman. The liklihood of a top line winger shaking free via trade or via UFA is much higher than the liklihood of a top end D man. Reinbacher may never get there, but he's probably a pretty sure bet to be a top 4 guy. No deal isn't going to have risk. I like Kyrou and think his contract is going to age well as well, but I don't really see him being irreplaceable like Thomas, and too a degree Parayko currently are.

Boatload of real dollars on Anderson's deal could be a concern. But his deal ends right when the Faulk/Krug contracts end and realistically it's fairly buyout friendly in 2 years. Certainly not ideal, but overcomable. It's just alot to be saddled with all of that cap from Anderson, Schenn, Krug, Faul, Leddy, Hayes, and Saad when it's no gaurantee that aside from Faulk and Leddy they are going to be top half of the lineup players for any clubs. I include Leddy because while he's in way over his head, he has played fairly well while being here.
