Chicago is not trading their draft picks.
Pettersson looks terrible in a Blackhawk's jersey.

It's not a terrible trade value wise. Not sure Chicago is willing to give up all that but you need to spend big to score big. At the end of the day I think Chicago wouldn't pull the trigger but this is intriguing.

Continuing our Nazar conversation: Unless KD does something like this and speeds up the rebuild considerably. Also, some of this young prospects might come along quicker being able to play with an experienced guy like EP.

I doubt KD does this, though. If that is 1st OA, I think KD just picks Celebrini and calls it a fantastic day.

Agree we just pick if it's celebrini. If it's 2-4 and EP does seriously become available I think you have to inquire. A chance to aquire a legit top 10 player at age 25 doesn't happen. A move like this maybe speeds up the rebuild but it for sure doesn't compromise it. If you take demidov at 2 you hope to have a top line F for a decade+, if you get EP you know you have a top line f for a decade+ also

I'd make this deal even if the pick is #1 overall. Kyle from Chicago won't do it, but I would. EP40 is a legit top 15 forward in the league.
