Possible Deadline Avenues

- PHI is not only willing to retain but will take on salary
- Ceci is the immediate Walker replacement, Kulak comes in in case they want to move Seeler
- Petersen going back with identical deal to Campbell but 2 years less, EDM still adds the 2nd to incentive PHI to take on Campbell
- Broberg gets called up in Kulak's absence
- EDM almost guarenteed moves buys out Petersen this offseason as result

- This is the reported cost
- These are the types of trade you gotta make, everybody laughed at Tampa for the Goodrow/Coleman trades
- Savoie goes in to mimick an extra pick for retention as he's a 22 year old prospect still with scoring promise

2024 1st round pick (EDM)

- This is the reported cost (Top prospect, 1st round pick, roster player)
- Broberg would get called up in place of Ceci
- Dubas has an immense amount of respect for Ceci, so he gets reunited with him.

2024 2nd round pick (EDM)

- The 4th would cover the retention
- This might even be an overpay on Edmonton's end for a pure middle 6 rental, but it is Jordan Eberle
- I am removing Mattias Ekholm's #14 if this trade goes through
- Another cap clearing move would have to take place to have this trade happen

2024 2nd round pick (EDM)

- This is backup option if Walker is a no go. Cheaper, would essentially free up 2 million to get elsewhere on FWD
- Not a bad backup option, but should be the backup option

2025 4th round pick (EDM)

- MIN looks like they're out of it
- Especially if EDM was looking at a Eberle reunion, why not Maroon? Would be a perfect 4LW addition with Dowd on a shutdown line.
- Saves 600k to use elsewhere
