I think I made it work. Some guys may even be under paid but it all depends. Not a leafs fan so some of these contracts maybe expire next year and they maybe on a good deal depending on how they play. General thoughts?

Also I don't know how Hortons Contract works. It won't let me use pro mode but I believe leafs were in a similar situation this year and they were cap compliant

Nylander and Marner will be paid around 1.5 million AAV less and Gardiner around 15 AAV more.

Eichel $10M, McDavid $12.5M means Matthews is probably halfway in between, so $11.25M would be my guess.
Nylander is likely around $7M, Marner might end up a little less depending on his year.
If Gardiner has a good year, I'd say he gets something like 6 x $5.8M

You see why will so important of the Leafs not to carry over any performance bonuses from 2018/19. There is no cap room. IMO the performance bonuses aren't reflected accurately for 2019/20
If Rosen and Borgman are solid NHLer they should get paid more. Maybe Kapanen too. I really don't think there is enough money for Gardiner.
Leafs will have to go with Reilly, Zaitsev, Dermot, maybe Carrick, Rosen, Borgman as there Dmen.

And if it comes to it, the Leafs may not HAVE to sign Marner to such as big contract. Bridge contracts can still be used.
