Detroit passes, We only have $30,200,000 this year to sign about 10 players. If both Raymond and Seider get long terms that alone could eat $17,000,000 of it. Plus we need to sign other RFAs like Rasmussen and Veleno possibly Berggren and Johansson is out of options so he'll need a cheap contract. And we could still re-sign Kane and Sprong. Jake Guentzel will probably want at least 8 x $9,000,000 and we don't have it.

Guentzel to Detroit doesn't make sense despite what alot of people say.

We have the 5th best offense in the league, Guentzel isn't really a need. He's a great player and obviously makes any team better, just don't see him being a player we target.

Also, with our defense, we will likely get caved first round of we make the playoffs.
