"They got some long term contracts on the books. I don't think a rebuild is happening." It can't, but there's also a decent base to build from even with a few bad long-term contracts. Those players are still useful, too (Gudbranson, Severson, Gaudreau, Elvis) even though they're overpaid.
Roslovic probably goes for a little higher pick (like a 3rd), there's not really any need for another AHL forward so Meyers is kind of zero-value to Columbus, just a body if Colorado needed to ship out a contract.
I'm not a fan of the Grubauer trade...he's older, worse, more expensive Elvis. Similar numbers, but Grubauer is on the much better team. If there was a swap, the pick balance doesn't go Seattle's way.
I'd take the Peeke deal in a heartbeat, I'd be happy to see anyone just...take him.
