Not sure how the trade values look.

1) Hayes probably gets a 3rd with a condition to make a 2nd if something happens.
2) Blues probably add and don’t even know if the trade makes sense but here we are nonetheless.

Offseason notes:
- Blues can package Buchnevich at the draft for a 1st + something else.
- If the Blues really like a guy at the end of the 1st round they can package 2 2nds and another piece to move up.
- If Buchnevich is traded, I think the Blues should look into signing Chandler Stephenson to a 4-year $5M-5.5M AAV deal.
- Blues should also sign a LD to a short-term deal (options include: Skjei or Forsling).
- Extensions: Kapanen (1 year $2M) and Sundqvist (2 year $1.75M).
