I’d think the devils have to pass on adding the 3rd imo

We need that to dump Vanacek if we’re taking on Ullmarks salary

And if this is an offseason move I don’t think NJD goes more than 1st for Ullmark+3rd

I don’t think either team lets a 3rd stop a deal like this from happening if it went down this route.

If San Jose was willing to make the trade with a prospect and 2nd round pick, I’d be open. No reason to include Geekie unless it’s this year

-Devils health
-Place in standings
-Play of our goalies

I’d throw in the 3rd on this condition. If NJD makes the conference finals it goes to SJS as payment for the condition. If not Boston keeps it.
