Avs can't afford to extend Lindholm and likely wouldn't part with both Behrens and Gulyayev in the same deal. Better to replace one of those with a first. Then you might have a rental deal.

good point, I made this mock trade based off others ive seen, in this situation i used tj as a cap dump. all together if i had to reverse that I would take out him and nick, swap it for a first and then with a 1 million dollar cheaper goalie I would just take that as a win, theyre still over the cap though but im sure theyre making more deals to fix that
