Description

Despite playing well, once Gryz comes back, I believe we send Lohrei back to Providence, as he's waivers exempt. Gryz slots in his spot, Mitchell stays as the extra, and Brown dances back and forth to the AHL as needed. Once Geekie comes back (which may be soon), Steen gets sent back down and Lohrei comes back up. Once there, I think Lohrei has to stay on with McAvoy for developmental reasons.

You were doing ok til the last part. They are not going with 12 FW 8D lineup. Nor do they have the cap space to send Steen down for Lohrei in that scenario.

Once Lohrei goes down he’ll stay there til, injury, trade, roster expansion.

BTW, Steen has been better than Lauko. If the day comes a FW goes down not sure it’s Steen.

Lohrei is waivers exempt, but he's also struggled defensively and that's the main reason why he should be sent down. Steen will play his 10th game today and will require waivers to be sent down. He's played well and earned his spot so far. Brown should go down when Geekie returns.

With the Lucic situation, my assumption is it’s not going to be an issue.

If he does come back, my guess is they will trade one of Steen or Lauko for a nominal pick rather than lose them. My assumption is either would be claimed at this point.

Once Geekie comes back, I think he becomes the 4th line RW
