1.
VAN
  1. Rutta, Jan
  2. Choix de 7e ronde en 2024 (NJD)
Détails additionnels:
I could see San Jose doing this to try and capitalize on their bottom-pairing defenseman at the deadline and get some draft capital.
SJS
  1. Juulsen, Noah
  2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2024 (VAN)
Détails additionnels:
I compare this trade to the TBL/CHI trade involving Koekkoek + 4th for Rutta + 7th in 2019. The added factor is the extra year, hence the 3rd.

I think Vancouver might explore Rutta as an option if they're priced out of the Top-4 market and still want to add some depth to the right side.
2.
VAN
  1. Dumba, Matt
Détails additionnels:
If Arizona falls in the standings, trading Dumba is definitely something they'll look to do.

Recently, teams are wise to these 1-year deals and the return for these players typically sees minimum value. Samples include Tatar, Klingberg, etc.

Arizona loses the cap boost Voracek and Little gave them this offseason, acquiring Poolman would help the Yotes reach the cap floor next season. Canucks pay for that by upgrading the pick from a 4th to a 3rd.

I compare this to the Klingberg for Sustr, Nesternko's rights, and a 4th last season. The difference is the LTIR, the better prospect, and a better pick.
ARI
  1. Bloom, Josh
  2. Poolman, Tucker
Détails additionnels:
Beauvillier, Anthony INCLUDED
2024 3rd round pick (VAN) INCLUDED

Canucks would have to package Beauvillier in this deal or have another deal lined up.
3.
VAN
  1. Murphy, Connor
Détails additionnels:
Chicago gets two great prospects in Raty and Silvos, Beauvillier is purely there to make the cap work.

It's very close to Horvat for Murphy.

I know the Hawks have Commesso coming up in the A right now, and still Silvos is the better goalie. Silvos should be playing in the NHL right now, he already would be if it weren't for the DeSmith trade, and I think if DeSmith re-signs in Vancouver after this season, the Canucks will look to relocate Silvos anyways.

Current backup/Future starter + future top-6 center + 2nd round pick for a Top-4 RHD is a pretty good value.
CHI
  1. Beauvillier, Anthony
  2. Räty, Aatu
  3. Silovs, Arturs
  4. Choix de 2e ronde en 2025 (VAN)
Détails additionnels:
With Demko locked in for the foreseeable future, Silvos is expendable. Raty falls into the same problem that Hodgson had 12 years ago behind two of the best centers in the game; Pettersson/Miller, and its unlikely he sees Top-6 time soon despite his strong play in Abbotsford.

I'm not so sure CHI would be interested in a package like that. But, of all the offers for Murphy that don't include a 1st round pick and/or retention of some sort, this is probably the best one i've seen. I like Raty and Silovs quite a bit, the 2nd is a nice touch, and Beauvillier is an interesting player on an expiring deal (so, very little commitment), who could benefit from a change of scenery.

I think dumba at TDL will get better than a low W prospect and cap floor AZ is about 20m currently under next year with 7 RFAs to sign and another 7 UFA/ roster spots to fill, do not think cap floor is any concern.

Eh, maybe on Dumba, his numbers are as bad as Klingbergs were last year with the Ducks. There's a reason he signed with the Yotes this season and not other teams.

As for the cap floor, a new season won't change Arizona's financial situation. There's a reason they have needed LTIR players for the last 10 years, and they'd get paid to take the remaining year with the upgraded pick as they had with previous contracts. I don't believe this part would be the deal breaker, but if it is, remove Poolman and drop the pick to the 4th. A near identical deal to Klingberg's.

I’m not sure this proposal does it for the Hawks.

With Soderblom, Commesso and Gajan in the system Silvos doesn’t really scratch an itch.

Raty for me is just a guy at this point, there is nothing he has done or is doing in the AHL that makes me believe he will be a significant NHL contributor moving forward.

While the 2nd round pick is nice, it is two drafts away and could very well be a late 2nd round pick.

Beauvillier is a decent middle six forward but is a UFA at the end of the season.

I think I would just as soon hang on the a solid 2nd pair RHD on a reasonable deal for the next two seasons unless someone offers a 1st round pick.

dumba might get a 4/5th w 50% maybe a 3rd
yeah they had a series of crappy and 'poor' owners, not the case now and despite small arena they are making more and getting more in corp money, so dumba for a 4th? sure Id rather get some of the AHL kids icetime for the future success.
