Chicago very likely says no.

Chicago is definately not giving up a top 70 pick for a (at best partial) cap dump and a LHD prospect (more like a suspect with each passing day) when their deepest prospect pool position is LHD with 2 or 3 ready for significant NHL icetime this season and another 2 or 3 that could/should warrant cups of coffee.

You could flip the third as going TO Chicago instad of From and the answer is still likely no.

Hawks decline. Joseph takes a 2nd at minimum to dump if Sens are looking to do it prior to the '24 draft. And Branstrom has little value to the Hawks with all of the young LD prospects they already have. No chance the Hawks spend a pick to acquire either guy, let alone both.

I give you Senators fans credit, you are persistent if nothing else.

I can’t wait for the season to start for no other reason then to put an end to all of these ridiculous cap dump proposals that have the teams NEEDING to move players in order to become cap compliant getting assets for bottom of the roster players they are willing to give up.
