We would also probably have Marco Kasper with that 7th OA pick in 2022...

Except Brown said he didn't want to sign long-term with Ottawa, so he would be gone.

Giroux said the Cat trade played a part in him joining Ottawa, so Kasper instead of Giroux.

Gus played worse than Murray in his last season with the Sens. Wild GM said that Gus was out of shape when he joined the Wild, so doubt he plays as well that we'll for Ottawa.

Paul is nice, but inconsistent. When both Tampa and Ottawa were struggling down the stretch (March/April), both him and Joseph had very similar stats. Paul is good, but let's not pretend he's makes this team elite (he has one goal in the playoffs this year).

Why stop there though? What if we never traded Stone, or Karlsson? What if Hasek didn't go to the Olympics? What if we drafted X instead of Y? Every team makes mistakes, have their own what ifs.

For me, I love the core. They are young, locked up long term, and we have a new owner that appears miles better than the last one. Future is bright, in my opinion!

What a disaster

Tampa Bay declines. Paul is a much better fit on Tampa's 3rd line than Joseph was when he was there.

The money wouldn't really work for the Wild anyhow. They need Gus to come in closer to $3m than $4m if possible to give them any flexibility to add at the deadline.
