- the rangers 2nd and 3rd line could be swapped, a line of kakko chytil and fast would be incredibly frustrating for any team to play against
- leivo brought in for some offense on the fourth line
- oel brings in a vet to the defense, upgrading that of harpur and eliminates the need for mikola
- allows the team to have some sustainability on offense and defense until jones and othmann are ready to come up
