You’re not getting a pick back for Bailey. He’s a negative asset. If you look at the Petersen deal, it costed a B prospect (2nd/3rd round equivalent), and a 2nd round pick to dump his salary.

A more realistic trade proposal:

To CHI: Josh Bailey, 2024 2nd Round Pick (NYI)
To NYI: Ian Mitchell (I think the Hawks would be okay giving up Mitchell), if not some other long shot project player like Basse
