One more season like the last and Jarmo joins Larsen in the unemployment line.
These recent D moves allow the Jackets to take their time in developing Jiricek, Mateychuk and Ceulemans at the AHL level.
Honestly, I just can't see Anaheim taking anyone other than Fantilli.
Leaving a choice between Carlsson or Smith for the Jackets.
With finishers like Chinakov and Marchenko, they need to stock the stables with centers who drive the play, have excellent vision and can distribute the puck.
Carlsson checks all those boxes.

Jack really needs to go. He only ever tries when he was on the top line, he will never try if hes on the 3rd. At least Cole puts in the effort no matter what minutes he plays. Hopefully we can ship Jack out and move Cole to the 3C spot.

No way you move to 1. Chicago is a junkyard dawg with a big ole bone in that pick. You can probably get to 2 with a nice offer, but at the end of the day, Carlsson stock did rise at the worlds. So who knows.

I do think he might want a NA C so that they can potentially make an impact right away but who knows. I also think Fantilli (of course they aren't getting Bedard) has a higher ceiling than anyone not named Bedard or Michkov.
