hey let me make a prediction..... dubois is not coming to montreal and he will get traded to a contender and sign an extension and winnipeg will get a fair return but not an amazing one. One because he wants too much money and we dont need him with Dach suzuki and the center we get in the draft... not to mention that we have beck and kidney and evans and dvorak.. so why should we upset our caP structure for a free agent with some questions about his heart and compete. We are better off without him than paying too much for him.

I agree that's what I think is the most likely outcome. He'd be stupid to limit himself to one team if he wants to get paid. Painting yourself into a corner by only wanting to sign with one team when you are going into a contract negotiation isn't going to get you much.

If Montreal really does want to keep Suzuki as the cap for salaries, then I think PLD would want to go elsewhere. I think he's fairly confident he can get more than Suzuki somewhere.
