If you look at what the Sabres have going on right now- two solid forward lines with no openings, and what they have coming- 4 to 6 undersized forwards, most with first round pedigree...this is not a move the Sabres would make. The Sabres needs right now, at least at forward, are size and grit, help on the pk, and probably a center that can play in his own zone and win a faceoff every now and again. I think a third might be a bit high, his numbers don't jump off the page for a mostly offense shooting winger, and it's been 5 years since he was drafted, so draft pedigree isn't helping much either. Somebody would probably take a kick at him, but it won't be buffalo, and it's not a crazy ask, but you probably are looking at a later pick.
