Hawks would say yes. Hard part is the retention slots. Probably a minor detail, but there can 100% be something here for CHI/TBL to work with.

I think Chicago would say yez but idk if they’d wanna use up there last 2 retaining spots here especially if they end up with some like Garland or boeser as a cap dump from Vancouver! Maybe move like a mid rounder to Third team to retain one of the salaries

I’m not sure the Hawks accept. We’re not particularly attached to TyJo/Dickinson, and we have the salary to spare. But we can only retain on three players at a time, and we’re already retaining on McCabe.

This would take up all our retention slots, and tie the hawks hands in the future. It would prevent us from retaining on a Murphy trade later in the season, or us being a third team in a trade to retain a chunk salary and facilitate another teams trade.

If you want the Hawks to do that, it’ll take more than a 6th + 7th
