I'm going to presume Edler is less THE target and more a placeholder for a UFA D at around that cap hit and, thus, will refrain from critiquing that aspect of the roster.

Beyond that, I think CHI would want a more substantial piece in a Raddysh trade (at least a 2nd; perhaps even a 1st). Whether they get that or not is another matter, but I imagine Yamo and some draft fodder isn't the package they'd accept.

As for the Ceci trade, that value MAY be right if you find the right team, but LA just simply isn't that. They're flush with RD (Doughty, Roy, Walker, Durzi, Clarke, etc) and will need the 3.25mil Ceci occupies over the remainder of his contract for other purposes. The only teams I see maybe being "right" for Ceci are ones with a gap at RD, a desire to start/continue competing, and aren't in dire straits cap-wise. Teams that may fit that description are Detroit (traded Hronek and don't have a 2RD candidate behind Seider), Buffalo (could use another RD, though Ceci isn't that much of an upgrade on Lyubushkin; cap situation beyond '24 might limit their interest), Montreal (could use a RD, though they might prefer keeping spots open for young Dmen), and Vancouver (they could use a defensive presence on RD between Hronek and Bear; would need to have moved on from Myers and bought out OEL to have the cap space). Anaheim and Arizona have a need but probably aren't going to be competitive and, thus, would likely view it as a cap dump.

Hawks really believe in Raddysh. With his contract being what it is...I wouldn't be surprised if they demanded a 1st. They don't actually want to trade him away so any acquiring team would need to pay a premium.

Thanks for input. Youre right about Edler. A bit to much i think as well. Hes a place holder. I redo Raddysh trade.
