Why are we scratching POJ our D is so slow

in the playoffs, having a big, physical D-Core is key. last yr, our blueline was getting beaten down to the ground by NYR... Kulikov, Dumoulin, Rutta, & Petry are all built (all over 6'-0" / 200lbs) and can play that physical game... Joseph is a great skater but he will take a beating in the playoffs.

We dont have a big physical D core. Rutta and Petry have not make us tougher to play against at all and we still allow players to camp in front of our net without any pushback. Good teams have a mix of both. We have neither.

Agreed, our D core is awful. It's slow, isn't physical, and we lack mobility. I'm not saying have 100% speed/skating/puck moving and no defensive defensemen or physical guys, but we have neither. Goal should be to have a mix of both, but we failed on both accounts. We also have some of the worst D zone coverage in the league. Our D needs a complete makeover this offseason.

POJackoff has been the reason this season has been a disappointment. The weak and worthless wuss is finally scratched where he belongs. I was hoping GMJR would be dumb enough to take him. Once Ty Smith is healthy, maybe we can waive POS Joseph.
