Description

This whole "the deal can't happen until a cap transaction" is very strange considering BOS can do the trade right now having Nosek on LTIR. So to me if they are shopping Smith to clear cap space, surely that means Nyquist is part of the package too.

Nyquist is out for the season but will be available for the playoffs, so BOS throws him on LTIR to create space for a 23 man roster, to activate Nosek when he's ready (might not even be ready until the playoffs), and have the rest of the money go towards the performance bonuses for Bergy/Krech.

Still not so sure how true these reports are, but from what I've seen I guess this is what the deal will look like?
