Reports are that jackets and Boston have a deal in place for Gavy, but are waiting for Boston to make a separate deal to clear cap space. The price for Gavy has been set as a 1st, 3rd, and 4th or 1st and Lohrei. I basically added Bemstrom and Nyquist to make up the value gap, which would also provide some value to your bottom 6 going into the playoffs.

Nyquist is done for the year, but on track to return for playoffs. So he wouldnt count against the cap, but could help a team in the playoffs.

No way would I want CBJ to trade for Chychrun at the deadline. They can't afford to steal wins going down the stretch and end up pushing themselves out of contention for Bedard/Fantilli.

Now if he doesn't get traded, I'd be making a deal for him in the summer.
