      Teams first place in the NHL in goals but can’t keep the puck out of their net…solution? Move heaven and earth to go get an offensive d man that is basically a turnstile.

      Can you tell me what single player will turn an offensive juggernaut into a defensive juggernaut?
      Answer: none.

      No single trade will fix Edmontons defensive deficiencies.
      Did Colorado win their cup by trying to be a defensive Daryl Sutter team or sticking to their high octane offence? You know the answer lol.

      If you think Edmonton can win their cup by not following their recipe for success (GOALS) then you’re part of the reason why they may never win a cup with 97 and Leon. The mindset of not believing in the team.

      Difference is that their D-core have strong 2-way capabilities.

      You are right though, it's not like the Oilers can get 1-guy and fix their D, might as well try to get Karlsson, but I don't think they will win the cup because of it but they might if they get lucky.
