Drouin and Edmundson

Oh God no! Drouin sucks even at 50% retained i would rather have Puljujarvi. Edmondson numbers this year are horrible and he has never been that good in my mind so do see him as being an upgrade. Plus the numbers dont work Edmonton cant fit these two under the cap.

I hope Edmonton stays away from these two players.

Based on his current level of play, (and his entire career in Montreal) I dont think Drouin returns a lot of value. MTL needs to move both these guys (edmundson cant ever stay healthy and drouin doesn;t seem to care), but dont think you get a ton back, although maybe both sides do better if its drouin and edmundson for Barrie and Pulijarvi and Tullio or a 3rd.

Just dont think EDM wants to part with a 1st and IMO I wouldn;t want Drouin.

Interesting Idea here. I really like Edmunson and think this would be a great addition for the Oilers.

I doubt that they trade away Barrie for how good he is on the PP, but hypothetically if they do, this only moves the hole in the d-core from the 3rd left shot d spot to the 3rd right shot d spot. I would still take this swap of Barrie for Edmunson but just to point out there still will be a hole for someone to play with Kulak.

And I really don't think Drouin is very good anymore, he struggles to stay healthy and is regularly a healthy scratch on one of the worst teams in the league. But would provide a different element than Pulj. Would likely have to be in the top six in order to be effective.
